Overview:
SolidWorks Corporation needed to maximize the productivity of its software developers in order to enhance its industry-leading 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The company also wanted to recommend a high-performance hardware platform for its software to its customers worldwide. SolidWorks upgraded developer machines to Dell Precision 670 workstations with 64-bit dual-core Intel Xeon processors and NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 and NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 graphics cards running the Microsoft Windows XP operating system; certify the SolidWorks 3D CAD application on Dell Precision workstations.
