Overview:
Improving administrative processes and procedures meant creating a suitably sophisticated e-Government platform. Until few years ago, there was no strategy dedicated to e-Government as a whole. Then, the decision was made to progress towards an integrated platform, with the idea of reusing the existing platform and bringing it into line with de facto and current market standards, such as XML or Web Services. The contract was awarded to the HP proposal, incorporating BEA technology. The development and integration solution came from BEA, which contributed its BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 application server to the project. CARM implemented a self-developed content manager in Java to operate the portal.
