Overview:

This webcast provides IT managers with an overview of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), a component that enables extranet Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation. The presenter shows how extranet SSO technology enables access control in an unmanaged, non-domain environment and provides security and personalization for users of Web-based applications. The attendee will show how identity federation technology enables sharing of identity information more securely across security boundaries and reduces the administrative complexity and security challenges that accompany the sharing of applications with business partners.
