Overview:
To work together to deliver a single, highly secure, highly reliable converged network infrastructure across 15 geographically dispersed Vancouver and Whistler Games venues, as well as numerous support venues, meeting the voice, video and data communications needed as many as 90,000 individuals and a million plus spectators. To address the Hyperconnectivity demands of the Games, the end-to-end infrastructure will leverage Nortel's Ethernet Routing Switches to meet the Games' reliability and bandwidth demands. Robust VoIP services will be delivered using Nortel Call Servers and IP phones.
