Located in Morgantown, West Virginia, West Virginia University (WVU) has a faculty of 1,800 and more than 27,000 students. West Virginia University wanted to reduce voice costs and simplify network management. The challenge was to improve voice services. As a solution the university upgraded network to support new services and deployed Cisco Unified Communications.
