Overview:

The Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol is a hierarchical Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) for routing in Internet Protocol, using a link-state in the individual areas that make up the hierarchy. This paper provides guidelines for the redistribution of OSPF between different processes. Redistribution between different processes is difficult, and special measures are necessary for the proper operation of the network. This paper also highlights some changes introduced in Cisco IOS software.
