Overview:

T-Systems sought to improve productivity for employees in its Austrian office by standardizing the desktop environment on the Windows Vista operating system and 2007 Microsoft Office system, including Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. To achieve a smooth transition for the 600 employees, T-Systems needed a way to shorten application deployment time without interrupting workflow within the organization. The IT service provider found a deployment solution in software virtualization technology. With Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization, T-Systems accelerated the deployment process and reduced overhead costs considerably by delivering applications to employee PCs dynamically.
