Overview:

As increasing numbers of companies were falling under the wings of JATCO (Japanese Automatic Transmission Company) as their parent organisation, it became necessary for all employees, managers and services deliverers to have a unified means of communicating with each other and their customers. The need to have one system across the entire global company has been increasing steadily over the last 20 years and it was decided to find a solution to provide the information sharing infrastructure to cope with this major task. JATCO adopted BEA AquaLogic User Interaction as its main system to implement EIP (Enterprise Information Portal). The system was fully updated and ready to run using the new solution in March 2007.
