Overview:
Today's environments almost require people to access each other from any place. With the deployment of edge servers in Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 users can be enabled to participate in Instant Messaging (IM), Web conferencing, and audio\video sessions remotely. The presenter of this webcast takes a look at the different topologies of edge servers and explains when certain servers would be needed in a deployment. Also, the presenter drills into some of the challenging areas of DNS records that are needed for certain topologies.
