Overview:

Despite the vast research done and technologies built to translate from one language to another, general public is unaware of such technologies. In this paper the three types of practices common in the field of translation, namely Human Translators, Machine Translators, and Hybrid Translators are described. Furthermore, Machine Translators are described in detail and three translators have been tested to evaluate the efficiencies of Machine Translators. Since languages are very complex and many rules have to be considered to translate corpus from one language to another, accurate translations have not been quite possible by machine translators. However, they have been successful in translating technical writing and have successfully maintained gist of the language being translated.
