Overview:

The Java Message Service (JMS) standardizes reliable messaging on the J2EE platform. The recently released IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) product offers functionality that is at the core of any environment based on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). This is the first of three papers that together will describe how to combine JMS and WebSphere ESB into a powerful combination for reliable SOA.
