Overview:

Anhui Telecom Company Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Telecom, the largest fixed service telecommunications provider in China. Anhui Telecom wanted to implement an online charging system that incorporates the company's 3G operations and eliminate processing issues that were affecting the performance of the system. The challenge was to ensure a smooth implementation to avoid business impacts and simplify database management tasks to minimize costs. Anhui Telecom deployed Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database to underpin the online charging system, ensuring powerful, reliable data processing capacity and gained an integrated, whole-of-business billing system that supports more than 10 million customers.
