Overview:

Digital sales and developments such as Internet subscription services and mobile downloads place enormous demands on the IT infrastructure at EMI Music. Part of top music company EMI Group, EMI Music needs to ensure its systems can scale to meet increasing data levels and support change. EMI Music supports its SAP R/3 enterprise resource planning solution with a Microsoft infrastructure, which now includes a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database and Windows Server 2003 operating system. This gives the organisation the flexibility to grow and support new business on a global level. The solution can also scale to meet the dramatic data increases generated by the digital revolution.
