Overview:

The ever-increasing trend toward mobilization presents challenges to traditional PC deployment, management and maintenance activities. EDS is investigating ways to improve services in this environment by integrating new hardware-based capabilities introduced with Intel Centrino Pro processor technology, into its services model for mobile PCs. EDS has been testing Intel Centrino Pro processor technology capabilities in an office environment (refer to sidebar) to investigate ways of integrating the capabilities of the brand into IT support processes.
