Overview:

The client is the subsidiary company of 396 Billion Dollar conglomerate and a leading provider of financial services to consumers and retailers in over 40 countries across the globe. The company's challenge was uploading, comparing and updating tables of more than 50,000 records was a time taking task. Hence it was important to optimize the logic to prevent downtime of the system during this update. MindTree developed an application layer over the existing Oracle database that would upload the data onto the system and compare all tables with existing data simultaneously. A complex logic was designed to identify splits and mergers of banks.
