Overview:

Leumi Card offers credit cards and other financial services in Israel. In 2006, the company deployed Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 to increase hardware utilization and to configure servers with Intel processors. The company also deployed Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 to improve management of virtual and physical servers. Leumi Card wanted to improve network management, enhance security, and reduce costs. With partner Malam-Team Group, Leumi Card tested the Windows Server 2008 Enterprise operating system in June 2007. It used Windows Deployment Services to simplify deployment of client operating systems. The company plans to begin installing Windows Server 2008 in production in the first quarter of 2008 and to use Windows Deployment Services to complete deployment to more than 1,000 clients.
