Overview:
To stay competitive, Lufthansa Systems needs to be ready to offer the newest technology to its customers. The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner team looks for solutions that it can easily deploy and manage in its own environment before offering them to customers. In November 2007, Lufthansa Systems began implementing the Windows Server 2008 operating system. The company uses the Server Manager feature to install and configure server roles, and it uses the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard to simplify domain controller installation. Lufthansa Systems also plans to implement Terminal Services, including Terminal Services Gateway, and Network Access Protection to ensure the health of devices connecting through its virtual private network.
