Overview:
Due to the increasing use of virtual IT infrastructures, the demands on monitoring and control of these environments along with suitable backup technologies are growing. The Infrastructure Center for VMware Framework (IC) is the heart of the IC product family for VMware ESX. IC is a client-server product that operates with ESX products by VMware under both Windows and Linux. IC reduces the expenditure required for monitoring to a minimum while at the same time increasing the availability of the entire virtual IT landscape by automating critical procedures. It combines the functionality of a centralized "Infrastructure Disaster Recovery Software" with the high availability of "Reliable Infrastructure Cluster Services".
