PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya produces a range of food and beverage products for local and overseas markets in 12 manufacturing facilities in different locations in Indonesia. The same products may be produced in different locations, and distribution is handled by SNS, a sister company with 98 depots throughout Indonesia. Given such operation complexity, the success of the company hinges on effective communication and collaboration, especially in Supply Chain Management. With the help of Mitrasoft Infonet, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Garudafood migrated from IBM Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, and implemented Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 to support collaboration, link processes, increase operational efficiency and share timely information.
