Overview:

H W Fisher & Company - a top 25 firm of chartered accountants - uses a range of Microsoft products, including Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Microsoft encouraged H W Fisher to implement Software Asset Management (SAM) as an exercise in corporate governance that would benefit both organisations. It would ensure that H W Fisher got the most from its investments and further cement its relationship with Microsoft. H W Fisher found the SAM experience - which ran over three months in early 2006 - highly positive, with benefits including a greater understanding of future licensing costs and increased confidence in the value and suitability of its Microsoft licence. H W Fisher also enjoys the ongoing support of Microsoft as an advisor.
