Overview:
Sma Supermercati wanted to create a secure, Web-based IT infrastructure with a high level of availability to align the company's IT foundation with new business needs in the competitive supermarket sector and centralize IT system management to improve availability and reduce costs. The challenge was to provide a flexible, scalable IT infrastructure to meet the company's growth plans and create an organic business continuity plan. The company selected Oracle infrastructure software as the foundation for a new Web-based IT architecture designed to increase flexibility and scalability and help Sma Supermercati meet emerging business requirements.
