Overview:

Toshiba Tec Corporation's Document Processing and Telecommunication Systems Company (DPTS) offers document solutions, with a focus on Multi-Function Peripherals (MFPs). Toshiba Tec wanted to maintain market leadership position in China while creating new products to boost market share in Japan. The company integrated CAE into the design environment which allowed designers to perform analyses. Multiple, early simulations helped to optimize products. Responsive analysis software speeds results. As a result there were shorter development lead times. This lowered prototyping costs and enhanced expertise among design engineers.
