Overview:
The client is a midsize European telecom vendor providing convergence equipment for carrier-grade VoIP networks. The company wanted to accelerate product rollout cycle to ensure that the customer retains early mover advantage in this cutting-edge technology and keep pace with continuously evolving requirements during product development. The challenge was to ensure interoperability of the product with network nodes in live network scenarios. Aricent jointly worked with the customer to design the product based on the MIDCOM architecture. The scope of the project included extensive code optimization and porting of Aricent's products, such as the performance-optimized SIP UA and MEGACO Toolkit, which helped the customer achieve high performance levels. In addition, Aricent executed complete interoperability testing for the product with live network nodes.
