Overview:
In a bid to reduce the strain on medical resources, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions required a unique telephone-based service patients could use anytime of the day or night. A service employing Microsoft technology was created that gives citizens immediate access to a wide range of medical experts. The initiative has reduced the burden on doctors and provided superior medical support for less mobile people.
