Overview:

When WorkflowOne set out to implement a comprehensive portal strategy, the print and promotional solution provider evaluated Microsoft software, IBM WebSphere, and custom development using Java 2 Enterprise Edition. The company chose Microsoft software and, with help from Composable Systems, created several Office Business Applications that build on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to unlock the data in line-of-business systems, making it more accessible and easier to use. Customers now have access to order history and inventory levels, and can manage their own marketing campaigns online. WorkflowOne employees benefit from streamlined internal processes and now can readily publish information to the rest of the company. By using Microsoft software, WorkflowOne delivered those new capabilities rapidly and cost effectively while making optimal use of IT resources.
