Overview:
A leading national telecommunications company in Canada serving approximately 10.2 million customer connections, including 4.5 million wireless subscribers, 4.7 million wireline network access lines and 1 million Internet subscribers. Telus needed to launch a wireless broadband service in western Canada in a very aggressive manner. Unlike other wireless services deployment the wireless broadband required special attention to optimize the network in order to get the maximum throughput. Telus was able to rapidly roll out wireless broadband with the support of the full specturm of Nortel Global Services including: design services; deploy services; optimization services; integration services; and maintenance services.
