Overview:

TEO LT, AB Group is the largest fixed-line telephony and Internet related services provider in Lithuania. The company had to meet very strict, immediate deadlines under the terms of the DVB-T license, and Scientific Atlanta's experience, knowledge and the response of their in-region support personnel helped to satisfy the demands placed upon. Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco company, and TEO LT, AB Group, launched both IPTV and DVB-T video services from a newly created Scientific Atlanta digital headend. The new headend and associated systems support content acquisition and delivery, MPEG-4/MPEG-2 encoding and decoding, and digital content and network management.
