Overview:

Abertis Telecom is Spain's leading telecommunications infrastructures and services group. Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco company, along with Abertis Telecom has expanded the regional program delivery capability of Spain's regional television association, Federation of Autonomic Radio and Television Entities (FORTA), by nearly 40 percent with an extensive Scientific Atlanta video contribution network platform. The new Abertis contribution network extends the reach of FORTA into three new regions, Aragon, Asturias and Murcia. This will enable the new regions, and the eight regions already receiving FORTA programming, to share content in a service expansion that will offer Spanish viewers exciting new programming choices.
