Overview:
Given its size, New Plan faced a number of challenges related to efficiently managing business content, and exchanging information and documentation with internal and external audiences. New Plan's accounts payable function, for example, relied on manual procedures that required regional offices and corporate headquarters to process invoices. In addition, the organization struggled to effectively manage Oracle's Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager processes using common desktop applications. New Plan also recognized that it needed to consolidate its many approaches for managing Web content, business documents, and records to improve efficiencies enterprise-wide. The company deployed Oracle Universal Content Management to address these issues and power a variety of content management-based applications.
