In one of its latest projects, completed in 2006, Burlington Coat Factory adopted a grid computing solution based on Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Real Application Clusters. The company adopted the platform because it saw it as the best and simplest way to manage the huge volume of data generated by its sales activities and the best way to shore up the system for the future.
