Cox Communications considers its upgrade to PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 to be another step along its five-year HR systems journey to becoming a company with leading edge technology for all employees and useful data for business analysis. With over 275 locations across the U.S., all on a single instance of PeopleSoft 8.3, the company embarked on an upgrade to dramatically enhance the recruiting processes and to position itself for the future migration to Fusion. Today, Cox Communication's HR department has met its vision of enhancing tools for 'Next generation' employees, moving data ownership closer to the source, and mining key HR metrics data for useful business analysis.
