Overview:

This webcast explores the Smart Client Software Factory, a technology toolkit from the Microsoft patterns & practices group that focuses on building complex, composite smart client applications. The Smart Client Software Factory takes advantage of the Microsoft Enterprise Library 2.0 and Composite UI Application Block, using a software factory model to generate the application framework through a set of wizards. Using the Smart Client Software Factory can result in more rapid and standardized application development, enabling developers to generate core application frameworks and focus on building the business logic behind the application rather than the plumbing code. The Smart Client Software Factory is also extensible through the patterns & practices Guidance Automation Toolkit (GAT).
