Overview:

With 260 miles of shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, the City of St. Petersburg has long attracted vacationers and retirees. In recent decades, however, Florida's fourth largest city has steadily diversified, transforming itself into a business engine that is powering the entire region's rapid economic growth. With the growth, however, came increasing demands for more services, putting a strain on the city's budget. As a solution the company implemented of an Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is replacing the city's patchwork of legacy computing systems. The study focused on the city's rollout of Oracle applications for managing procurement, human resources, contracts, and grants.
