Evergreen Solar Inc. of Marlboro, Mass., was a leading manufacturer of solar power products. The company wanted to replace homegrown and legacy accounting software with an integrated enterprise-wide solution. The challenge was to improve business processes by eliminating manual procedures and meet Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements for reporting. As a solution the company deployed mySAP Business Suite and SAP Best Practices for High Tech offering.
