Overview:
The Adcock Ingram Ltd wanted to replace end-of-life Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that was expensive to maintain with a scalable, tier one solution that meets the diverse needs of all three divisions from a single application suite and select a supplier with advanced process and discrete manufacturing solutions and the functionality to support multiple manufacturing tactics in a mixed-mode environment. The challenge was to incorporate specialized pharmaceutical applications into the new business model to accelerate the development and testing of new medicines and bring them to market faster. The company chose Oracle over SAP for its comprehensive mixed-mode manufacturing capabilities and advanced clinical applications that meet all the requirements for improving operational efficiencies and outcomes.
