Overview:
Traditional disk arrays force the IT storage specialist to allocate and dedicate storage space to a particular volume or LUN at creation time. The problem is that at creation time the true requirements are often not known, which forces overprovisioning and higher costs. Network Appliance storage systems offer powerful, flexible provisioning capabilities that give IT storage specialists the flexibility to lower cost while meeting capacity and performance requirements.
