Overview:

Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) released a Web service developed on the Microsoft .NET Framework using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. The new service, called ePin.Net, enables government departments and private organizations to securely verify the identity of citizens and customers online without having to create their own identity stores. The highly secure solution was developed in record time and promises to exponentially reduce the cost of identifying users as more public and private organisations adopt this service. It also improves citizen, resident and business experience by enabling a single unified verification process to start e-government or e business online transactions.
