Overview:

Renault F1 Team is a leading competitor in the glamorous but ultra-competitive world of Formula 1 racing. The challenge for the team was to find a storage device that could handle the volume of data being written in real time, with every lap the car does of the circuit, while over 30 clients are reading the data. Renault F1 Team already relied on NetApp storage to support its extensive computer-aided design storage requirements. The team chose to expand its existing NetApp infrastructure and deploy seven clustered NetApp FAS270 systems for trackside data management.
