Documentation isn't exactly the reason why most IT professional chose their career. But with the right amount of enthusiasm, hard work and attention to detail you can become a much more valuable asset to your employer and enhance your resume. Your opinion of the documentation phase of the Project Life Cycle likely depends on your role in the IT organization.
