Overview:

Zmanda is the leader in open source backup and recovery products. Its Amanda Enterprise Edition is the certified, tested and fully supported version of the world's most popular open source backup and recovery software, Amanda. The company wanted to present the fastest, most professional installation process possible. Amanda requires Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, and several PHP extensions and Perl modules. The company wanted users to manually install and configure all of the software required to run it would not provide the polish customers expect from an enterprise solution. BitRock developed a custom installer for Zmanda that automates the installation and configuration process for Amanda Enterprise Edition with Zmanda Management Console on Linux.
