Overview:
DB Systems GmbH is a full-service IT provider that develops and manages innovative IT solutions for transportation, logistics, and central management processes. The company wanted to reduce costs by streamlining IT operations. The challenge was to improve efficiency in key areas, such IT project management and resources planning, by migrating operational information to a single system. DB Systems also wanted to provide consolidated reporting to senior management. The company implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Service Automation, PeopleSoft Resource Management, and PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal to improve IT project management and control associated costs.
