Overview:

The British Columbia Ministries of Attorney General and Public Safety and Solicitor General are recognized as national leaders in integrated justice systems, developed and maintained with Oracle Technology. They wanted to remove information silos, enabling greater visibility of information across the organization. The challenge was to improve content management and collaboration, Single Sign-On to Web content and applications and enhance information security provisions. They implemented Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Portal, Oracle Collaboration Suite, Oracle Identity Management, and a custom federated Oracle Search, which incorporates Ultra Search. The resulting Web-based content management and collaboration solution improves staff members' ability to securely and rapidly access critical information from across the enterprise.
