Overview:

With nearly 19,000 students, Boise State University is the largest institution of higher education in Idaho. The university wanted to replace disparate, antiquated administrative systems with an integrated ERP system to better serve students, faculty and staff, and to run the university's business processes smoothly and accurately. The challenge was to implement Web-based self service for students, faculty and employees to increase user satisfaction, and to decrease costs and provide a stable, well supported platform with the ability to innovate and add enhancements. The university was one of the earliest adopters of PeopleSoft Enterprise Student Administration (version 7.0 in 1998-99), and currently runs PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials 8.8 and PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Campus Solutions 8.0 on Oracle Database 10g.
