Overview:
Named among the 150 Best High Schools in America, Glenbrook Schools is an acclaimed high school district serving the Illinois communities of Northbrook and Glenview. Glenbrook Schools needed to access their student accounts from home in order to complete class projects involving large, media rich data types. However, inappropriate downloads resulted in a rash of spyware, malicious hacking tools, unlicensed music and games on the network, exposing it to vulnerabilities and using critically limited storage space and bandwidth. SurfControl Web Filter and Enterprise Threat Shield enabled the district to regain control of its network security with a multi-layered network and desktop defense solution capable of supporting Federal regulations such as CIPA, and district privacy policies.
