Overview:
Since its 1997 launch, E-LOAN has originated over $27 billion in consumer loans. E-Loan's reputation depends on how well it safeguards its customers' data. The IT department had desktop anti-spyware protection in place, but it needed a second level of protection that would monitor the network and block spyware traffic 24/7. The company deployed Mi5 Webgate which immediately showed E-Loan which machines were infected with spyware, the severity of the threats, and the names of specific infections. As a result, the IT staff was able to quickly isolate the infected machines and remove the spyware.
