Overview:

While Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the world's most famous cricket-playing club and owner of Lords, joined in the celebrations following England's outstanding Ashes triumph over Australia, it recognised that it couldn't afford to relax and let its guard down off the pitch. Organisations now face a greater threat than ever before from virus writers, spammers and increasingly, targeted attacks by financially motivated cyber criminals. In light of this, MCC decided to review its existing security software, evaluating solutions from a number of leading IT security vendors. MCC deployed Sophos Anti-Virus with Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange to protect the company's desktops and e-mail gateway from viruses, Trojans, spyware and spam.
