Overview:
Grant MacEwan College is Alberta's largest and fastest-growing college, serving over 40,000 full- and part-time students. To ensure they stay ahead of the constant threats to their network while continuing to offer students and faculty unlimited availability of their academic network, ITS required innovative technology solutions to authenticate users, and safeguard their network from outages. MacEwan was a pioneer for Network Access Control (NAC) solutions when they initially deployed the Vernier EdgeWall 6500 in November of 2003.
