Overview:
Established in 2001, Integrated Olive Products Company aims to make Jordan a leading producer and seller of high quality olive oil, both regionally and internationally. The company implemented from scratch a Web-enabled technology platform to support all of the business processes involved in producing and selling olive oil, including financial and inventory processes. The challenge was to manage farmers' ticketing procedures, which previously had been organized farmer-by-farmer. The company designed and implemented OLISYS, a Web-enabled, state-of-the-art olive-oil production and control system built on Oracle Database and Oracle Developer Suite.
