Overview:

The Hampshire County Council (HCC) IT team operates an enterprise-scale environment for 20,000 users and provides outsourced services to other local government organisations. In 2005, the council decided to terminate the contract with its existing support provider to improve problem resolution and receive proactive technical backup. The council purchased Microsoft Services Premier Support, which included proactive services and problem-resolution support, with account management services from a Microsoft Technical Account Manager (TAM).
