Overview:

With an established focus on technology innovation and corporate social responsibility, Caja Madrid introduced the 'Zero Paper Project' to realise its vision of implementing a digital office environment. Recognising the potential productivity and cost benefits of re-engineering manual processes with an electronic paperless solution, the project was designed to drive improved working processes while supporting Caja Madrid's efforts in preserving the environment. Having evaluated a range of options to replace notepads, the financial group equipped over 300 employees with Intel Centrino mobile technology-based tablet PCs, delivering wireless access to electronic files and mission-critical enterprise information via a WLAN environment across both the headquarters & main corporate buildings.
